Green Fair Added to
Custer’s Last Stand Festival in 2009
Saturday and Sunday
June 20 and 21, 2009
Evanston, Illinois
Expanding on its success as an award-winning arts and crafts festival, Custer’s Last Stand is adding a section devoted to green living, ecological technologies and fair trade products. These are timely and welcome topics with both local and global connections.
This open air festival, twice voted Best Art Fair by Northshore Magazine’s annual reader’s poll, attracts over 60,000 participants who meander through 400+ booths featuring original art and craft work, antiques plus a selection of restauranteurs. Entertainers bring the added dimensions of music, song, dance, theater and laughter.
Now festival organizers are adding more than 50 booths that will display a wide spectrum of tools, products, services and plans for living and working in rhythm with our natural environment. The “Green Fair at Custer’s Last Stand” will be featured in the Chicago metro publicity including radio and print advertising. The festival draws people from across Chicagoland. Its location in Evanston is equally attractive to people travelling the short distance from north shore suburbs as well as Chicago.
